South Central is a good community.The police care lot the community. Yes I like live South Central. It okey you talk all people around your community. The school and the teacher help you the work. They away care of you.
The three most important events that have had the greatest impact on making South Central, LA what it is today are Early History of watts, Gang History and the Watts Riots.
Los Angeles area was originally home to the Tongva and Chumash Indigenous people for thousands year. The town that founded was named El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora La Reinade Los Angeles sobre El Rio Porcivcula. Today the outline of the pueblo is preserved in a historic monument area called Olvera street. This led to California becoming a states in 1851,soon after the Mexican American war, Pio Pico was the first governor of California.
The whites gang start first.Pior to the 1940s, there were many Black and Latino clubs and clicks but very few out right gang. Blacks had to live along Central Ave and Latinos lived mostly in East LA and Watts. White gangs that would seek out black and latinos and harass them or beat them up. The first black and latinos gang were in response to these white gangs. The gangs acted as protecion for black and latino nieghborhoods.
The Watts Riots began on the evening of August 11,1965. The white officer pulled over the car that he had been told about on 116th and Avalon, an area Southwest of Watts. The driver was Marqette Frye. He was driving with his brother Ronald. According to the police, Marquette failed a sobriety test driving. The police arrest everybody. The next day, community leader and the police met at Athens Park. On the third of the riots,103rd street in watts was burned to the ground. In the end 34 people died.118 people suffered gunshot wounds. Most people were killed by the LAPD and the National Guard. There was over $40 million in damage. A krean lady shot Latasha Harlins the back.

what i feel ahout the final is not happy.im not ready for no finals.im nervous on all of them.i would study to be good on the test.

Paragraph 1:The good thing about south central is that they got more school and less violents.South Central improve to stop the tagging on the wall and gangs.I do love liviing in south central.Also I do like to go to schoo because is different now.

What i know about Watts Riots is that the Riots started when they pulled over Marquete Fry.Also that when the Riots started 103rd was burn down they called the charoal alley.This is important because the police treated Marquete wrong and his family got mad.i choose this because it was not right to treated someone i a mean way also beause i did learned somwthing important.
Paragraph 3-LA riots
What i know about the LA riots was that rodney king was beating by the white cops.The brult beating was recorded by the cop car camara.The video was showend to the community.The black community got really mad because they thought that it wasn’t nessecery to beat him like they did.And also because the people that did it was white cops.And thats why right now people in the community don’t like the white cops because what happen to rodney king.Also is like is now beacaus that korean lady shot that poor girl for no reason.This even is important because it’s not fair that the black community were treating bad by the white people.
Paragraph 4-Gang History
What i know about the gang history is that the white started the gang.I also know that black and latinos made there own gang to take out the white gang.And the black gang was called the black panter and the latinos was the brownbrets.The panter wanted to stop police brutaly and the brown brets wanted more education on chigano.This event is important because i didnt know that the white gang was more powerful in south central.
Paragraph 5-Conclusion
Overall the three event were something that people would never for get.And also that the white people would ever do that to another human when they are also human we are all humans.And i hope that south central would change and stop polive brutaly.Also that every one would get a long and stop the violents.
i woould not able to talk to no teacher.if i ask them i think they would say to do all your work.
i am prepare for the ten grade.what had help me was all the close.i dont need to improve nothing.
